Drinking alcohol is a deeply ingrained part of the northern dimension area societies and the many people who drink regularly to excess cause damage far beyond their own bodies. The consequences of drinking go far beyond the individual drinker’s health and well-being. Directly and indirectly they affect the well-being and way of life of million of others.
