Danish police work with Alicante force to dismantle drugs gang

DANISH police are in Alicante to gather new evidence against a drug trafficking network that sent hashish from the province to Denmark, for sale to the Hell’s Angels, EuroWeeklyNews report.

The officers from the Narcotics and Organised Crime Unit Copenhagen, have been received by provincial head commissioner, Jose Javier Cuasante, and the head of the provincial judicial police, Alberto Rubio, as they thanked the Drugs and Organised Crime Unit in Alicante for their collaboration and support in the investigation and subsequent arrest of those allegedly involved.

The joint investigation led to the arrest of 22 people – 18 in Denmark and the remaining four in Alicante and El Campello. A tonne of hashish was also uncovered hidden in trucks in Denmark.
