ACTIS: combating drug overdose crisis in Norway

“Despite being one the of most affluent countries in Europe, Norway continues to fight a drug overdose battle. Generation X makes up the highest overdose rate in the country, leading to demands to build a more structured follow-up for drug treatment entrants after a non-fatal overdose to avoid relapse,” writes the NGO Focus program introducing the video interview with Stig Erik Sørheim, the Head of the International Department at ACTIS, a Norwegian umbrella organisation for NGOs in the alcohol and drug field and the board member of NordAN.

NGO Focus is a program at the Human Rights TV Channel run by International Observatory of Human Rights.
