Finnish health authority: Finns bringing less alcohol back from Estonia

Passenger imports of alcoholic beverages decreased during the last 12 months in Finland. Converted to 100% alcohol, passenger imports of alcoholic beverages decreased by 23.1 per cent between May 2017 and April 2018 compared to the same period last year.

Finnish passengers imported 61.8 million liters of alcohol from abroad between May 2017 and April 2018. The amount converted to 100% alcohol was 6.4 million liters, compared to 8.3 million in 2017 at the same time.

Passenger imports declined in all beverage groups, the most concentrated wines and cocktails and long drink drinks.
