Latvia: Doctors fighting for the lives of multiple ’spice’ users

Despite attempts to eradicate the use of herbal drugs mixtures aka ‘spice’, doctors are still fighting for the lives of multiple users in Latvia every day, The Baltic Times report.

Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital reports several cases of people suffering from hallucinations, increased nervousness and aggressiveness, psychoactive substances every day.

A campaign to close down legal drugs outlets in Latvia proved popular and effective earlier this year, A number of key spots which sell the drug were closed down.
