Nearly 80 percent of Estonians in favor of complete ban on alcohol advertising

A survey conducted by Turu-uuringute AS revealed that 78 percent of respondents are in favor of completely banning alcohol advertising in Estonia.

A mere six percent of respondents were against banning advertisements for alcohol, and another 13 percent were somewhat against the ban, reported ERR’s television news.

Similar to the previous year, support for the banning of alcohol-related advertising remained in the majority. The only demographic in which less than half of respondents supported the ban was people who consumed alcoholic beverages more frequently than once per week.
